Last Night on Earth® is a fast-paced game of brain-eating Zombies, small town Heroes, and horror movie action. Players take on the role of either the Heroes or Zombies. To survive, Hero players must work together and use their cunning and ingenuity (as well as a bit of luck) to make it through the night, while the Zombie players control unending waves of undead, spreading over the town to feed their hunger.
With a cast of horror movie archetype Heroes and hordes of bloodthirsty Zombies, each Scenario is designed to play out like the plot of a movie; desperate Heroes racing against time to accomplish their goals... sometimes it’s as simple as just trying to live through the night. So put down that popcorn, grab your shotgun, and hide your brain - the Zombies are coming and this could be your Last Night on Earth!

In spite of having every LNOE game and expansion already, I had to have the 10th Anniv. edition, and it was well worth getting. The comprehensive rules and the extras like the Old Betsy minifigure and the Truck really add to the gameplay. And it's still the onlyl tabletop game with a soundtrack!

Wow! This is an amazing and timeless game that should be in every collection! This Anniversary Edition is a bundle of love to the zombie genre and blings out all of its components with high quality production values! With stellar gameplay and unbelievable replay ability this collection is not to be missed. And missed it will be as at the time of my review I fear the availability of this excellent product is nearing its supply as it is a Limited Edition. This is an experience that should be cherished by your friends and family. Congratulations Flying Frog Productions!

To me this is one of those timeless games... It is simple to learn...yet can be as complex as it needs to be for more difficult missions. They really capture the essence of survival with the opposing cards that can change the dynamic of the moment. The zombie crawl across the board can surprise you with a sudden rush...surrounding your heroes. The heroes can martial their nerve and stand fast with card that assist in success. This game is what led me to other products available here. Love IT!!!

They really added quite a bit of awesomeness to this edition. I play this game every chance I get and my wife likes to play this game as well. Well worth it!

This game has been one of my favorites for the last 10 years. It's always fun, and everyone I've introduced it to loves it.
I love the physical truck and gas markers. The additional characters are nice too. I have yet to play the new scenarios, but if they're anything like the other ones, the'll be a blast.
My only dislike is the plastic the heroes are made of isn't the same as all the other heroes I have, so the colors are different. They also seem to be made from a softer plastic?

When I went to Gen Con 2017 they had this there and told me that it would every character and every scenarios from all the expansions. I did not get it at Gen Con, but went through this site expecting everything they told me to be true boy was I in for a surprise.
When it arrived I was full of excitement. I have bought ALL, online and store, for this LNoE, and made several of my own scenarios. I quickly found out that I could not fit 6 characters/scenarios into their designated slot, after setting aside the repeats from the original LNoE. The frustration only got worse though. As I was putting my cards in from All Expansions I found the plastic mold had cracked completely from the top to the bottom in one of the Card holders rendering it useless. Even if it wasn't cracked I found that all the cards wouldn't have fit in the first place. To make this matter even worse is that it does not accommodate for sleeved cards. There is enough room horizontally but veritcally doesn't allow you to put the forest tiles on top. The tray for all the random pieces, reinforcements, ammo, Lights Out, I can't believe they taken the..., do not fit either from the previous expansions as well, because of this the giant squares don't fit either. Finally the forest tiels either do not fit because you want to sleeve your cards or it does fit but loosely and can damage other tiles or rule books.
Overall I very dissatisfied from what I have compared to what I was told it could do. If you are going to get one get two instead. You will need a second box to fit everything from ALL current expansions.

There are plenty of reviews out there for LNOE, so I won't go over the rules and gameplay other than to say if you want to play in the fun zombie horror flicks of the 80's, completely oozing with theme and the tropes you know and love, this is a game well worth checking out. We've had so much fun with it, one of our friends went out and bought his own zombies to paint up and use when it's his turn to hate the living - this guy never buys anything!
Let's talk about this 10th Anniversary edition.
The very first thought I had when I picked up the box was "this seems light." It is, however, packed with new "deluxe" style elements: plastic tokens, fire, and even the old truck. Along with new figures we already know from previous editions and the favorite Ol' Betsy.
The collected rulebook is very much appreciated and I'm of mixed feelings about the box. I'm a considerable amount of work into a cool custom box, myself, and now it's totally moot because this fantastic new box is designed to handle all of your expansions - which is why it initially felt light, it has space for more stuff! That puts this release among a very elite crowd, in my opinion. Board gamers know that storage and organization is always a major issue.
My only true negative is that my group will probably need more Fire Markers. Perhaps its telling about the kind of chaos we usually endure/create, but I imagine what's included is plenty for most folks. Very cool to note is that the markers are designed so figures can stand IN them for those occurrences when you make a break for it through the blaze and the dice betray you.
Thank you FFP for this great surprise of a release. We're very happy to celebrate 10 years of LNOE with you.
