Limited Preview Resin Void Magus Miniature
The Void Magus is a more powerful Void Sorcerer and is featured in the Masters of the Void Deluxe Enemy Pack. That set contains all of the rules for the Void Magus, but usually players just use one of their Void Sorcerers as a Void Magus if he comes into play. Now, you can have a specific Void Magus enemy model in your games of Shadows of Brimstone!
This is a Limited Preview of a new Resin Special Enemy Miniature for Shadows of Brimstone. Includes one resin special enemy miniature and one 30mm plastic base.
Figures supplied unassembled and unpainted.
***This set DOES NOT include any cards or rules***

Dynamic pose, good detail and fits in perfectly with the Void Sorcerers/hounds.

The sculpt itself is great, but I would recommend waiting for the plastic version. The resin product I received has quite a lot of bubbles and is taking significant time to fill and fix.
If filing and filling is no big thing for you, then get this now.

I already had the Enemies from the void box and though the Sorcerers are fine what caught my eye were really rather the void hounds.
The set calls for the use of a lesser model to be used as a Void Magus when that card comes into play, so when the resin Magus turned up in Flying Frogs webshop I ordered it to complete the set and expected nothing special.
But receiving it in the mail it blew my mind!
The model is higly detailed and the exquisitely modeled flowing robes and flailing tentacles are striking and crisp as well as "devilishly lifelike" to quoute a certain Cthulu mythos story that seems fitting.
To top it off there's the slung/ belted Magus spellbook.
Detailing is perfect, to get this result they obviously had to mould it separately so you have to glue it onto the model.
Which is fine with me.
Well worth the cost of the model and then some!
Some assembly required of course, the spellbook and head are separate from the rest of the model.
I suggest hand washing the model to get rid of mould release and then use flexible superglue gel and a set of pincers.
