A Touch of Evil: Hero Upgrades Game Supplement
As the Heroes close in on the Villain that has been terrorizing Shadowbrook, they will need to keep their wits about them and use every strength they can muster to overcome the evil that stalks them. There can be no turning back now, and no holding back in their fight for survival!
This 24 card Game Supplement for A Touch of Evil adds a new dimension to the game and an entirely new mechanic in the form of Hero Upgrade cards. Now Heroes can use the Investigation and Event cards they've found on their hunt for the creature to 'Level Up', unlocking stat bonuses and a new Ability. Each of the 24 cards in this set is unique and applies to a specific Hero, covering all of the Heroes released to date from the base game, Something Wicked, The Coast, Hero Pack 1 and Hero Pack 2.

I've played two games with 2 characters each so far. At first I thought the upgrades would be too expensive (10 investigation) to be worth it but the abilities are so nice that in the end, everyone earned their upgrade. Easy to incorporate into the game. I did find that it lessened how much I interacted with Town Elders as I saved up my Investigation more for the upgrades.

Each character has an additional skill that they can learn (paid for with 10 Investigation and 1 Event). These additional skills have had a lot of thought put into them so they thematically suit your character. It's not always a guarantee that you'll want to spend your Investigation on the power up but something to consider when tooling up your character to take on the Villain. We played last weekend and 2 out of 4 players chose the power ups (she went on to win!) I would recommend these and I will be adding these to every game. Cheers froggers from thd UK.

A must have for defeating the Epic Spectral Horseman & Sunken 7. Adds even more replayability. Katarina upgrade is legendary Awesome. Thnxs FLYING FROG
