These are indeed blue peril dice. I got them as a gift for a friend who also owns Shadows of Brimstone so we don't get our dice mixed up. We had no trouble with contrast or shading unlike on the red dice.

The color blue used for these dice is significantly darker than what is pictured here online, so there is little contrast between the blue and the black shading. This makes these particular dice difficult to read, I recommend sticking with a lighter color like the green or the white.
