Shadows of Brimstone: Coffin Breakers Enemy Pack

Smashing through their wooden coffins and digging their way back to the surface, some undead nightmares refuse to stay in their graves. Known as Coffin Breakers, these skeletal fiends scratch and claw their way out of the rocky ground, to bring death and destruction to the world of the living! Armed with rusty graveyard tools as weapons and the splintered remains of their wooden coffins as shields, these deadly foes were once bandits and horse thieves in life, condemned to the grave for their crimes. Now they have risen back from the dead, driven by the cold, unrelenting desire for revenge!

This Enemy Pack contains everything you need to battle the ghastly Undead Coffin Breakers.  Included are 6 Coffin Breakers models, the large Enemy Record Sheet for them, and all of the Threat Cards needed to add them to your games of Shadows of Brimstone.

Figures supplied unassembled and unpainted.

  1. nice models - but unfair rules

Posted by Unknown on 18th May 2022

These SoB enemies are very nice to look at and to assemble (if you enjoy gluing plastic models).
They have a lot of variety and you can make every model look different.
    BUT the rules are crazy.
It is near to impossible to kill these guys - and they pack a punch that doesn't allow for Defense re-rolls and ignore armor.
5 guys killed 3 3rd level heroes with good equipment in 2 turns.

There should be a less brutal rule set for them available.

  2. Nice minis

Posted by Unknown on 16th Mar 2022

    nice but hard to assemble

  3. Very detailed Very fragile

Posted by Melody on 15th Mar 2022

I love the look and idea of these models but 2/3 of one of the scuplts came off the sprue missing a foot

  4. Awsom looking mini's fiddle af to build

Posted by Michael Aubertine on 7th Mar 2022

These mini's look amazing when finished but they are the fiddliest of all the builds I've done so far.

  5. Difficult Models

Posted by Jared on 10th Jan 2022

Love the stats and idea behind this one, but the models are very difficult to work with. Cutting them out, even with the the correct tool, I lost a foot on two different models. Although designed for easy possibility with the ball sockets, I found them very difficult to hold into position as the super-glue set. I am a beginner, so some of these issues might be my inexperience, but I haven't had problems like these with the other models.

  6. Good stats, models look nice, assembly is horrible

Posted by James on 5th Jan 2022

The stats are great and they are very fun to play with, but in a full day of assembling minis for this game, these were the only ones to give me issues, and lots of them. The plastic is very thing.

If you're careful and good at it, they are probably fine, but I've chosen to search for another model to use for these as I don't have the patience or skill apparently to put these together.

    Fair warning.

  7. Great models... very very thin plastic

Posted by Jens on 1st Dec 2021

As my precessors wrote - very very detailed miniatures BUT...
Very very thin plastic, all 3 left feet and 2 decorations of the shields broke out of the sprue...
Well, each model is looking completely different, since assembling them the most exciting task of every model so far... soooo thin arms etc.

For profi asseblers a joy with 5 stars - for hobby gamer (like me) a horror

  8. Uh oh somethings a going on yonder on Boot Hill

Posted by Tim Verrinder on 1st Dec 2021

Seriously what is cooler than the residents of Boot Hill climbing out of their moldy graves to come an raise a ruckus in Brimstone? The Coffin Breakers Enemy pack allows you to really put the scare in to your town folk. The Coffin Breaker models are awesome. The models are well done, and make perfect melee troops as they all are armed with picks and shovels, and use coffin lids for shields. The weapons were a nice historical touch. In the old west miners were often buried with the tools they used to make their living in life. I suggest you purchase two boxes so you will have a enough coffin breakers to really threaten Brimstone.. You can also pair this set with the Undead Outlaws enemy pack in order to give your undead posse the ability to shoot back at the living.

  9. Zombies with shields!

Posted by Sean B. on 29th Nov 2021

These models are great! Very detailed.
My pack was missing enemy sheet, emailed frogs and they sent replacement in a flash.

  10. Great undead addition! Watch out the left Foot !

Posted by Louis d'Auteuil on 28th Nov 2021

Six Wonderful models with many assembly options. I really enjoy them. They have lots of fun details. Also, they are pretty fun to fight as their behavior change every turn.

Just be extra carefull when you take them off the sprue. The left Foot on one the model breaks very easily.
