Holy Expedition Game Supplement
Many areas around the ruins of Brimstone are overrun with hordes of demonic and Undead creatures, growing in strength before unleashing upon the defenseless settlements across the countryside. To hold this gathering Darkness at bay, devout Heroes set out on Holy Expeditions to smite these blasphemous foes before they can spread their foul corruption throughout the land.
This 15 card Game Supplement for Shadows of Brimstone allows Hero Posses that include at least one Holy Hero to make any Adventure into a Holy Expedition! Including a new Adventure Card for Holy Expeditions, a set of new Encounters themed for these dangerous missions to smite Demonic and Undead foes, and a new CorruptedEnemy Trait card to make any Enemies you face off against possessed by demons, this set also introduces 8 all new Blessing and Judgement Sermons for use with the Preacher Hero Class.
*Holy Expedition is a brand new set of cards that were not previously available through any Kickstarter project*

It is really cool that a set of cards can add so much theme to the game. If you are planning on adding the preacher to your posse, get this before you create him. Be forewarned though, holy expeditions can be brutal. Be sure to say your prayers.

Neat but of limited utility

Some fo the cards are “neat” but overall do not seem to add much to the game. Some even make the game way harder with limited return. If I had read up on these more I may not have bought them. Adds some neat abilities to the preacher/nun, which of course….I don’t have.

Awsome Expansion for your Preacher/Nun class

Expand your Preacher/Nun class and add an adventure with this deck. It gives you new sermons, blessings and judgments, expanding out the class. It also give you and adventure and a Corrupt trait card for making enemies for some unholy combat. Definitely worth adding for those that play it RPG, and those that just favor the Preacher/Nun, but limited use if they aren't on your table frequently.

If you are not particularly interested in these Heroes, the supplement adds very little to your games. The adventure theme is kinda bland and there are few Encounters added. But if you enjoy the Holy spellcasters, this is 100% the pack for you. Adding new Sermons for them is fantastic.
Also take into account that these Sermons have the new and improved templating on them. While perfectly compatible with the classic ones, they won't be visually matching them. They will match the Revised ones.

I really like the Holy Mission Adventure theme. Not a lot of encounter cards, but enough to add depth to your scenarios.
Also, the many new Sermons do give wonderfull options to your Preachers and Nuns.
I totally recommend it if you enjoy having a holy hero in your posse.

Nice to see a new thematic option to really expand on the preacher/nun. Comes with some great cards to expand the spell casting capabilities of the preacher too. Great addition to the game.

I love the theme for this mission / supplement!
Preachers / nuns often end up carrying my hero parties, so this makes canonical sense in my games.

This gives holy character's several more options for blessings and judgments.
Also is the option for a themed adventure, which I really liked.
I'm a fan of more options for this game, and this card set delivers!
