Hoping this is the first of many

This is a great new way to handle encounters, with a narrative that has branching choices and multiple outcomes. The story adds a lot of great lore and backstory to the included enemy, with the upside that it is highly replayable. The mechanics feel similar to Arkham Horror LCG, albeit in a much smaller scale. Ideally this is the first set of many, although it would be great to see card packs for existing enemies that can expand their story.

A good change up

If you are like my play group, playing the basic mine missions can get repetitive. I appreciate a new twist to the same old thing. Plus you can't go wrong with a ghost miner (who remembers his appearance with Scooby Doo?). The quality was good. I would have preferred hard plastic or metal for the miniature but understand the limitations with self production.

To expensive for its content

$30 for this product is too expensive. You only get the model of Curly Jones, a handful of cards, a rulesheet, and the enemy sheet itself. Yet, I don't play with this narrative expansion. So I can't tell about the story. But this is another Adventure content, like the Badlands or other supplements. A few more rules you have to care about it. $20 as a maximum for this addition will be okay.
