These models are extremely fragile as the thermal plastic tends to break at the slightest jolt. If you drop them, they will break in awkward places. If anyone has any suggestions on what to use to glue the breaks back together, I'm all ears.
Otherwise, the units are pretty cool, and I was looking forward to using them in game. In the state my models are currently in, they are more likely headed to the trash can.

They went together quite easily. There was a bit of flash but it came off really well with a craft knife. The material feels a bit rubbery. Haven’t painted them yet so I’m a bit worried how the rubbery plastic will paint up.

Not sure why people are having issues assembling these miniatures. Took me less than 5 minutes to glue all six together. They are sturdy and the ball joint at the top of the peg makes it easy to use super glue. The pentagon at the bottom fits neatly into the base slot. Easy. To. Build.

As has been stated the sculpts are nice and in-game not an issue. How you feel about these minis probably depends on the experience you have. If SoB is your first encounter with miniatures then these will be a challenge to work with. If you dabbled with things like ForgeWorld these are not bad.
They absolutely require clean up and gap filling. From examining mine I can see places where green stuff will fill-in some obscured details and larger gaps. If that last sentence sounds like a lot then you might want to stay away from these.

As I've stated with other thermoplastic the sculpture great the units are great in-game great material bad. Thermoplastic is just too soft to work with consistently get a good cast no problems have to correct any errors or injection site terribly difficult combination of exacto file even sometimes minor Dremel work is needed , time consuming and unforgiving and assembly requires a lot of Gap fill they don't like to go together as nicely as plastic.

The concept, rules, and general aesthetic design of the models are all winners but the execution of these models in "thermal plastic" feels cheap. The material combines the worst features of resin and plastic. The models have excessive flash like old pewter miniatures or cast-resin, but the flash and mold lines are extremely difficult to remove without damaging the model itself due to the brittle nature of the material, chunks seem poised to pop out while simply removing mold lines.
As a modeler with 24 years of experience in putting together miniatures of various material types I became so frustrated in trying to clean up and assemble these models I dropped everything to write this review. I have come to expect better from Shadows of Brimstone miniatures and am dreading the construction of other "Thermal Plastic" models I have recently purchased. To date I have been a completionist when it comes to collecting SoB miniatures but I am beginning to second guess that for future purchases.

First, I was very pleased to find that there are only 3 large pieces to cut out and glue together. The drone, the base, and the connecting "air" piece. Unfortunately, they used a pie-shaped peg to fit the base and "air" pieces together but the sizes don't match. It only required a bit of trimming. The flashing that other people are whining about was negligible on the ones I received. Just required a little bit of trimming. However, the thermal plastic process is just not that great. I have minis I've printed with an Elegoo resin printer that aren't pockmarked or lose detail like these thermal minis. I'm still giving the product a high score, because unique ranged enemies with Otherworld theming is also a good choice IMHO. At this point, I have nearly every product for Shadows of Brimstone and Forbidden Fortress. There are much worse minis to assemble and paint than these.

I have been assembling figures for around 40 years and have seen some bad miniatures in my day. Sadly these are some of the worst that I have seen in quite a long time. There was excessive flash around the guns, central body and engines on the figures. Also the base stem was not designed properly and does not fit into the base. If these were resin then a little filing would have taken care of the issue but since they are thermal plastic they are extremely hard to work with and do not file well.
