An awesome expansion

As with the other deluxe set you get new encounters, missions, and artifacts in addition to two new awesome monster types. The serpent tribe idea (where each tribe has a unique set of abilities) adds awesome variety to this pack. On top of that serpents are a unique fighting force that can sneak behind you, defend better one they're adjacent, and deal out double damage at a moments notice. Thats not even mentioning the serpent shaman who can do everything from ghost bite you to take control of one of your party. Add in that he has an epic threat variant and you've got one of the best sets available for SoB.

Amazing expansion for Swamps of Death

I didn't realise quite what I was letting myself in for when I saw the serpentmen pack, I figured I'd just get some cool serpent minis.
In this you get new artifacts, new encounters, 6 different tribes all with subtly different rules, hex items for the shaman and magic spells.
So much awesome in such a tiny box. The plastic quality is better than it is in the main sets and its relatively straightforward to put together!
