Fresh from the Dark Stone Forge, we are excited to present the Limited Edition Hell Mouth.
There are places where the Darkness has become so concentrated that it erupts from the Void, ripping a swirling tear in the fabric of reality, and pouring forth all manner of evil into the world. These places are known as... Hell Mouths.
The Hell Mouth Terrain Hazard is a deadly new type of Gate that Heroes may encounter on their adventures. It magnifies and focuses the Darkness, acting as a spawner to belch forth Enemies during a Fight, and leading to an especially dangerous area of whatever world lies on the other side. This set includes a Mission that features the Hell Mouth, but also includes rules allowing a Hell Mouth to be randomly encountered on any adventure.
Mission: Through the Mouth of Madness
A famous writer has gone missing, last seen heading into the hills in search of the fabled Hell Mouth rumored to reside in the dark depths of the local mines. Now the Heroes have been hired to find him and bring him back alive. But the dark tidings foretold in his recent stories have begun to bear an eerie resemblance to reality, building toward something sinister.
This deluxe resin terrain piece depicts a massive eruption of stone and a swirling portal of darkness – the Hell Mouth, an all-new scenario set piece for Shadows of Brimstone, plus a new Mission themed for the new piece!
The Hell Mouth model is cast in high-detail resin and hand-poured in-house by Flying Frog Productions. This stand out piece is easy to paint and will make an excellent addition to your Shadows of Brimstone collection! We have limited quantities due to the cost and difficulty to cast.

Most Useful of the DS Forge Pieces

Like all of the DS Forge Resin casts, this piece looks amazing once painted. What distinguishes this one in particular, though, is how easily this great-looking piece is incorporated into any other mission. I'd love to see other pieces that can be universally incorporated in this way. This one is a real favorite of mine, and I have all of the DS Forge terrain pieces. Strongly recommended.

The included mission that you go on is very unique with multiple outcomes that further vary the gameplay. Speaking of gameplay, the way in which this Hellmouth can change your games makes this easily one of my favorite recent additions.

The Hellmouth is a great addition to your brimstone collection. With a custom mission that finds your heroes deeper in the threatening otherworlds than they've every been before. You also receive rules to add this beautifully sculpted model into almost any mission your heroes go on. Its hard to describe the way this model can enhance every game of shadows without spoiling it. Get a Hellmouth and experience the excitement and increased dread it adds to your game.

I have a relatively large SoB collection, but this was my first purchase of their resin terrain elements. It is such a cool sculpt and has such an impressive weight to it .... Absolutely beautiful! Can't wait to paint and I love the game play tweaks it provides regarding portals. Inam now excited to try some additional resin pieces ... Mine Lift, here I come!
