Shadows of Brimstone: Trun Hunters Enemy Pack
A brutish, reptilian race of alien warriors, the Trun spread across the stars, conquering world after world and bringing destruction to all they encounter! Their ritualistic approach to hunting their prey often leads them to fight in small packs, tracking their quarry and facing them in brutal close quarters fighting! Of all the worlds the Trun have visited, the frozen cities of the Targa Plateau have been deemed the most...challenging. Because of this, they use it as a training ground for their warriors. To survive a hunt on the Targa Plateau is to prove one’s worth as a warrior!
This Enemy Pack contains everything you need to add deadly, alien Trun Hunters to your games of Shadows of Brimstone! There are 3 large Trun Hunter models included, as well as the large Enemy Record Sheet and all of the Threat Cards needed to add them to your games.

Note that left & right feet are different and the same with left and right shoulderpads. Fit before gluing ;)
There is a substantial gap behind the head. It is much, much easier to fill this right after gluing the front and back halves of the torso together. If you wait until later, the gap is both very visible and hard to reach to fill.
Other gaps can be ignored while building. Most of them will be hidden behind the shoulderpads in the end.

Models:
The models are made of HIPS plastic and they come in a whooping nine pieces. Assembling those pieces can be somewhat annoying, since it's possible to mix up the left and right foot, and ditto shoulderpads. The model is very top heavy, and needs to be leaned against something while being glued to the base.
Also, I would have liked to see a tail on these guys, but I guess that would have added yet another piece.
These models are fine, just don't try to assemble them in a hurry. My rating is 3/5 - Decent.
Rules:
The rules for Trun Hunters try to do a lot, and unfortunately it becomes too much. They have both melee and ranged attacks, and they have knockback, and they have scaling defenses. This results in Trun Hunters needing an extra rules card, containing the text that couldn't fit on the stat card. Inelegant, to say the least. And I think all text would have fit if the abilities Fear and Knockback were removed (the text on the extra rules card is super verbose).
Other that that, these guys have a high damage output and high Defense, but they get torn to shreads by anything that generates multiple crits, such as shotguns. The elite abilites don't boost their defenses at all.
A fun enemy, burdened with ugly rules execution after trying to do too much. I rate them 3/5 - Decent.
Theme:
Only a small part of Trun Hunters' damage output, about 14%, come from their ranged attacks. So why are they armed with guns, and not melee weapons? It's a bit strange, and would feel a lot better if the models had a melee weapon in their right hand.
But that's just a nitpick. It's fun to fight alien scavengers, and the special rules they have make sense, and make them stand out.
Regarding theme, I rate Trun Hunters 4/5 - Good.
Overall:
With an overall score of 67%, I can recommend the Trun Hunters enemy pack. But remember, some assembly definitely required.
